I'm terribly behind in my blog posts! I have so many photos edited and ready to go…and then the move started and it all fell apart! Right now we're vacationing for the week in Provence, France and we have more of a 'normal' schedule. We're in a house (as opposed to the hotel we've lived in for almost two weeks) and it's going to be relaxing! I hope to get a little blogging done as well. It's been driving me crazy that I've fallen behind and I intend to catch you up on some of what's been going on!

Maia has a habit of going through the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen. This particular day she found the powdered sugar and, when I wasn't looking, decided to shake it all over the floor.
I turned to see her just begin to shake it and I grabbed my camera!! I was more interested in capturing her mischievous moment on film than I was worried about the mess. (Which makes her reaction even more funny!)
She was so interested in what she was doing that she didn't even notice me snapping photos!
Here she's just realizing that the bag is empty…and then she sees the mess on the floor and in the drawer.
And she starts to cry!
And cry!
I never raised my voice or even scolded her. I was laughing the entire time and yet she was distraught! She doesn't like messes (although she frequently contributes to them!) and being covered in powdered sugar certainly amounts to a huge mess! She just looked so cute standing in a pile of sugar with speckles of it all over her face.
Has it stopped her from going through the drawers since then? Nope. We have our hands full since she's always investigating anything within reach!
