Sorry, I don't have a recipe but I'm visiting from Healthy Branscoms! I'm an army wife, used to be marine wife (long story) and I can totally relate to how a deployment can make you a much stronger couple than you were before. My hubby went to Iraq for a year just 2 years after we got married. It was HARD, especially with a newborn, but I am now thankful we had to do it because we are so much closer than we were before!
ReplyDeleteI think it's totally awesome that you get to experience so many new cultures living in Germany. It's my life long dream to be able to visit Europe, even if it's only for a couple of months just to get immersed in a different way of life. To be able to live in Europe for a while would be beyond happiness for me. Maybe the Army will send us there some day?

Thanks so much for your comments!! Deployments are no fun, but at least we can make a positive out of a looong year apart! I'm glad you had the same experience.
