Day 11 is here! Today's project is a delicious staple in the fall…
My recipe comes directly from PickYourOwn.org. Their recipe is absolutely delicious and makes two loaves. It's also relatively easy to make - just dump everything into a bowl, stir, and bake! I used to make this with my Kindergarten class every year. They loved being a part of the cooking process (but ultimately I think they loved eating it the most!)
I was ready with all of my ingredients out on the counter. I followed the recipe and had a big bowl of ingredients to stir within a matter of minutes.
Now they're all mixed together.
You pour the batter into two greased and floured loaf pans and bake. Voilà! It's that simple!
The recipe includes instructions for using canned or fresh pumpkin. I used canned in this recipe. The PickYourOwn website is a great reference if you're looking for local farms in your area where you can get fresh produce.
Enjoy your yummy pumpkin bread! I have a special treat for you tomorrow…a guest blogger, if you will...
