Maia shrieking!

Pin It A few weeks ago, Maia unveiled a new trick: a shriek.  She shrieked a few times when her Dad came home from work...Then a few times when the dogs made her laugh...Then when her dad threw her up in the air.  She does it only when she's happy and excited (thank goodness!) but apparently there are exciting things happening all the time now!

This morning instead of waking up to Maia chanting and complaining, I woke up to shrieks of delight!  She spent almost an entire hour in her crib alone...shrieking and laughing.  What a pleasant way for both of us to wake up!!  (Of course, she did wake up chanting and complaining for a bottle at 5am...but apparently it helped make the next wake up much more fun!)

After her breakfast, she was watching Baby Signing Time while I washed dishes and made a grocery list.  She LOVES Rachel and always kicks and smiles when she's on the screen.  This time, however, she shrieked each and every time Rachel appeared!  She had me in stitches!!

I had to capture her energy for everyone to see.  She makes us laugh and I wanted to share some of her wonderful spirit!

You can hear the DVD playing in the background of the video and she turns to look at it as she shrieks.  You can see she is quite jolly today!!  It didn't take much at all to make her shriek with delight!

She's napping now.  You would too if you just spent the last 4 hours jumping, laughing, and shrieking! Pin It
